…ideas are foreigners in the local landscape. Like weeds, they change how we see and become to know the world around us…

DETONATE – ideas as an explosive act, is a somewhat comic look at the process of creating an artwork that is as temporary as it is resonant.

low level ground shots – began during a 2020 Nature Festival residency and has developed into a series of close-up videos made in the lost localities of the City of Onkaparinga. These sites of early European settlement are no longer in existence and have fallen off the map. Only weeds and nature remain.
